PRODUCT DISCRIPTION
Xanthan gum is a kind of hydrophilic biological polysaccaride which is made from corn starch after processses of fermentation with xanthomonas campestais, extraction, drying and grinding. Benefited by its superior thickening and stabilizing effect,shear resistance and unnique preusdo-plasticity reheological property, xanthan gum is widely used in food, oil drilling, fine chemical, pharmaceutical and other fields.

Product Features
Xanthan Gum is a premium quality biopolymer powder designed to provide maximum solids suspension and hole cleaning in vertical and highly deviated wells as well as horizontal directional drilling applications. Xanthan Gum is a distinctive product and able to produce a thixotropic shear thinning fluid. XCD also acts as a very effective mud filtrate viscosifier. Xanthan Gum is a high quality product which meets the API 13A Section 19 Specification.
Application:
It is specially produced as mud additive for oil drilling and exploitation. Being an ecvironment friendly and high efficiency mud additive, Oil Drilling & Exploitation Grade Xanthan Gum has an excellent tolerance to the changes of temperature, acid, alkaline and salt. Meanwhile, it can extremely increase the products penetrating ability and suspending performance to small solid materials, and reduce the pressure loss during drilling. This xanthan gum can not only fasten the well bore, but decrease the damage to oil formation. It can also greatly raise the efficiency of drilling, workover and completion. As a biotype oil driver, Oil Drilling & Exploitation Grade Xanthan Gum can improve oil extraction rate and utilization factor of natural resources. The more important point is that it can furthest protect natural environment.
Storage & Handing
Precautions: Keep away from heat. Keep away from sources of ignition.
